In total, On The Level manufactured and supplied 38 bespoke wet room floors which have been fitted to the bedroom en-suites over three floors of the hotel. The project was delivered in multiple phases to fit in with other parts of the hotel refurbishment program.
The key to this project was always going to be the speed at which we could manufacture and deliver product to site. Being able to produce bespoke size wet room formers with a turnaround time of just 5-7 working days meant that the contractors could install wet room floors in line with the programme dates without having an effect on following trades.
On The Level worked closely with the project manager and site manager to understand the program schedules, and manage delivery lead times. All wet room floors were OTL Square; our classic square grating which sits on a 24mm birch ply former and then finished with large format tiles.
Our experience in working on tight project deadlines enabled the contractor to hand the rooms back over to the client in a timely fashion, eliminating additional waiting time for the hotel rooms to be open to the public again, and generating revenue for the client.
County Contractors are a returning customer to On The Level. We have previously worked closely together at the County Hall – Marriot Hotel, Westminster Bridge in London, so it was great to hear they wanted to work with us again on this project.
