Located between Folkestone and Hythe, the charming coastal town of Sandgate boasts an impressive stretch of shingle coastline, views across the English Channel, and offers residents the perfect combination of being totally connected to bigger cities, yet at the same time, away from it all.
The Sandgate Pavilions have been carefully designed by the team at Sunningdale House, with high-end living in mind, creating modern, luxurious and spacious apartments. Each has a fully integrated kitchen, incorporating the latest technology, well-appointed bedrooms with beautifully designed en-suites, and a private balcony or garden area. There is secure allocated parking with passenger lifts to all floors, plus additional lock-up storage.
We worked closely with the Development House project team to find solutions to a number of challenges which were highlighted during construction stages. One of these challenges was the floor build up. It was too shallow to fit a horizontal gully, so we provided vertical gullies and the waste was then underslung to the concrete slab below.
In some apartments we had to change the waste position to a central location to avoid structural obstacles, not a problem as we offer a bespoke former and channel fabrication service.
On The Level supported the installers to ensure that the wet floor systems were fitted correctly and cohered to our installation instructions; this included talking through the process initially, and being on hand for any ad hoc advice and questions.
Once final sign off for production was received, we reacted quickly with our manufacturing team to meet tight program deadlines.
The meticulously designed luxury in the apartments had to be felt in every room, and the developers needed to ensure the premium quality continued into the bathing area, which is why our INFINITY I-Line product was the obvious choice. Water flows directly into the channel of our luxury shower system, providing one of the most minimalist shower room designs to date. Thanks to INFINITY’s invisible shower drain, the simple, subtle, linear design enables the end user to enjoy showering in ultimate comfort and completely forget about needing to step around the shower drain.
