Bespoke Formers

Over the years there have been unusual examples of installation requiring custom-made formers (trays). Examples include a diamond-shaped custom tray with two waste outlets for a luxurious two-person shower space, as well as a large eye-shaped tray to fit the curved walls of a large wet room.

On The Level's birch formers are supplied ready to lay on any substrate including timber, screed and floating floors.

In addition to custom shower trays there are also eight standard former sizes ranging from 800mm x 800mm to 1700mm x 800mm, all available for next working day delivery. Positioning the waste outlet

Here is an example of the options for the waste outlet on an 1800mm x 1200mm former. Although the waste can be positioned anywhere within the shaded area (minimun 400mm centre from any perimeter). As the drawing shows, positioning the waste outlet in the centre greatly increases the fall. The better the fall the faster the water will run away. All formers irrespective of size or shape have an 18mm fall.

Measuring Your Bespoke Former And Waste Position...IT'S SIMPLE

the concept of measuring up for your shower former.

It is also possible to form a shower area within one peice of material leaving the excess flat area to install a basin,WC, shower screen or enclosure.  This will also make a small room easier to fit as one piece of material will cover most of the floor.
